Here is the problem here at least..

Blacks-- are mired in a self destructive quagmire still blaming whitey for all their ills, despite the fact every door in the world is open for them with arms reaching through to help them get through them.

Whites- roll their eyes and say " I never owned slaves" and blame blacks 100% for being where they are today.

The truth is both races are wrong. Whites can't be responsible for hundreds of years of oppression and once it is fixed just walk away like nothing happened. Blacks have got to start taking responsibility for their own communities and not tolerating making the lowest common denominator of society their role models.

NOw wait a minute, it sounded like you were "almost" ready to lynch the one who shot that baby in the face.

Are you assuming all those people lynched both Black and white were all innocent?

Whenever I try to add context to any topic some automatically assume, I am in support of something.

And needless to say (yet I will) I am almost always against lynching and for a number of reasons but .....

JUst as people do some of the most barbaric crimes now, they happened then to by the hands of both whites and Blacks.

I recall one local case in a small town I was in where a little girl of about 5 or 10 years old was found with her throat cut and I think she was raped.

They caught the guy fairly quickly with bloody clothes and all that. BUt when something like that happens to a neighbor family, you are darn right people will appear to be at a social while posing by the body.

I knew another case this one was even more personal, a guy who I kinda regarded as a step brother, he was at work and someone local came to his home and attacked his fiance and it was so gruesome that when the investigators got through he had square patches of flooring cut out every where the footprints were.

When stuff like that happens and they are certain who did it (or think they are) people don't want to wait.... and that is what so dangerous!

Here the wrong guy could be killed while the guilty party escapes.

this is getting rather tiresome, seeing the same members try to portray one ethnicity as more prone to violence, crime, and so on. if necessary, i'll dig out the suspension hammer and some will start looking like a square peg in a round hole.
