First step is to get on-topic, if you can generate photo's of current events that would be meaningful in showing "The South is still over run with Racists".. it might be instructive.

but as it were, you're posting photos of the 1930 from indiana or who knows where...

with no details on the circumstances of the photo ... it just falls short of being on-topic in my book.

But hey, I have an idea...

NOw what we could do is start a thread posting photos of modern day victims of such brutality, if the mods will approve, that might be more educational on whats happening in our lifetime.

Well darn spook something can get you slapped other than ..... Those were some painful images. It's hard to understand how the crowd looked like they are at a church social. I have to admit as a white southerner I have a hard time dealing with the fact that is part of my heritage. If I am not mistaken one of the pics was taken in my hometown. We are famous for two things..

1. Being at the epicenter of racial violence in the late 70's and early eighties. (and of course prior to that )

2. producing the greatest Tailback that ever played college football.

Actually I don't mind having a conversation on race or Islam. There is a way to have said conversation, if you want to talk about it with an open mind it's quite easy to do.

When I came here and converted to Isalm, quite a few people had questions, but there wasn't no acid-throwing, wife beating ones. More like general questions about not eating pork, or how do we view Jesus, and what did Mohammed stand for. Same thing for race, not every single minority is a criminal or crime waiting to happen. When folks can see that, we will move forward.

I am pretty much tired of talking about Race and Guns. I think we have been around the world and back and have said everything there is to say. Oddly I am the only one that is right on all of the above.
