Appointment for DCF in Manila

Do I need to have an appointment to file at US Embassy in Manila for a DCF for my wife? We live in Cebu and it is a mildly costly journey-would hate to make an unnecessary trip. I have been here just about 2 years, so I qualify DCF-just need to know if I need an appointment-the lines are horrendous there and they have initiated a lot of changes. Anyone know? thanks RobertDski

Here is a link to the U.S. Embassy in Manila. Check it and see if it pertains to your needs. You may need to do a search on the Embassy website to get more information.

They want you to have an appointment set up. The guard will check it at the first entrance point. You can get it online from the embassy website and just pick a time an hour or so after your plane from Cebu lands, print it off and take it with you.

When I went to the website to make an appointment for my Wife and her daughter for their visa interviews, I got confused, or the that website is mixed up....the profile page, is that suppose to be in my name, the petitioner? or in my wife's name?
