I wanna go back with my hubby that's why I've stayed here 8 month and they said that we were approved so it's my right to get my visa like they said

but you said they are stopping you from returning home, they are not stopping you, it is your choice.

Then you should pound on the door of the IV Unit and demand your rights !

or at least call the DoS Hotline and inquire whats what.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

 Lol Darnell. I can just imagine what the IV unit response would be.

Amanda - I hope they conclude your husband's AP soon. It's not a fun ordeal at all. But it's out of your control entirely. Polite email reminders every now and then are the way to go, if you do anything.

I'm really really frustrated right now, I don't know why all this is happening to me, my hubby had his interview last Wednesday and he got approved quickly and the interviewer didn't pay him any attention barely ask him any question too all of it was very basic questions and he told him that we'll the visa in two weeks and I used to check our status on the DOS tracker and it always said ready and we got an update on the 28th (the day after the interview) but still saying ready and today morning I checked it and find it saying that we are under AP ####### the interviewer didn't say that, he just said we are approved and gave my husband a paper saying that we'll get the visa in two weeks, I'm really frustrated and don't know what to do right now, why aren't they letting me go back home from Egypt :( :( :(

Hello,

I am in the same boat, did they take your husbands passport at the interview? I am new to all this what is DOS?
