Hello everyone!

So this is my case, i fied the i 130 on feb 21,2013. I received the notice of action i 797, on feb,27 2013. Basically saying that it is in process. With instructions to call them tk verify if all information is correct which i did. Its been a month now, i know this process involves alot of patiencen. Should i been receiving a new notice soon? What is the next step to prepare myself? Please and thank you for your time! :)

what's ur category?

if ur on f2a category, it takes 2.5 years for the complete process..

based on others timeline, when u reached ur 2yrs on ur PD u will be then receiving the Noa2..

? MARCH 01, 2012 : NOA1 HARCOPY

? JUNE 13, 2013 : RFE

? JULY 22, 2013 : NOA2 email ?

? AUG 07, 2013 : NVC received our casefile

? OCT 30, 2013 : CASE COMPLETED

? NOV 30, 2013 : P4 email received

? DEC 9-11, 2013 : Medical Exam done @ SLMCEC

? JAN 22, 2014 : INTERVIEW DATE (2hrs for the whole process)

? JAN 25, 2014 : VISA ONHAND

? FEB 13, 2014 : POE

? FEB 25, 2014 : Received SS card

What category are you in? Are you the petitioner? If yes, are you a US Citizen (USC) or a Green Card Holder/Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR)? Who are you petitioning for (beneficiary)?

Waiting times vary depending on your category and the home country of the beneficiary.

omg. Really 2 years? Why so long? I would think that if your a us citizen processing time should v shorter compared to.a residents?

Provide more info regarding YOUR case/petition so people can better advice you.
