Hello,

Currently on F1-OPT, I was wondering if the medical was required. My guess is that it is but after looking on the forum, no one confirms it. Other parallel question, I understand the medical is mainly a surgeon that transcribes vaccination history. Pretty sure I am all up to date on that, but all have been done in France (thus written proof are in french). Should I be looking at translating anything before I head to the medical -if I in fact need to go-?

Thanks in advance for your help!

They would all be about the same. I'd check to see who is close to you and then call around to find out their prices and availability. You have to use one of the guys on the official list here: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=CIV
