NVC has to officially complete your case before it's even put in the interview queue. From there, it depends on your embassy and how busy it is. Some embassies assign interview dates within a day or two, but others are busier and take a few weeks, while some even take months.

So it is the embassy who will picked the interview date for you? and not for you to pick on any of the dates that they have available ? Just need to clarify on this pls :bonk:

I'm pretty sure that depends on the case. I know typically you don't get to choose the case, but there was someone a few weeks ago who got an expedited case through the Philippines, and they were able to choose their date. Unless it's expedited, though, I don't think you do. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can clear this up.

My Embassy is in Sofia Bulgaria.... How can I speed up the proces???

You can't. You just have to wait. You can call NVC for updates, but there's nothing you can do to get an interview date faster than anyone else.

What oohpartiv told you is correct, however, once you get your interview date, you can contact your embassy to see if they have any earlier dates available. It's by no means a guarantee of an earlier interview, but those who don't ask, don't get.

good.gif That's true. While there's nothing you can do to speed up getting an interview date, OP, once you get it you can contact the embassy to see if they can give you an earlier one. There's no way to speed up the initial wait, though. Like I said, first you need to call NVC to confirm that your case has been completed, and then you can look at the timelines from other people who have gone through interviews at the Sofia embassy to see how long they had to wait. At least that way you can get an idea.
