Location of CFO in Cebu.

CFO requirements.

I don't know about CFO Cebu, but those in Manila are lining up at 5:00 a.m. in order to get a slot.

Besides the CFO requirements, take every scrap of paper from your immigration process with you.

I have a similar question here already, but the more I read the more confusing this gets. I printed the registration form for my fiancé! What is "Immigrant Data Summary" is that something that comes with the visa.,.,.,or another document that needs to be downloaded, and I also see one site says 40 slots in Cebu on a first come first served, another says 12 slots, from two members here, and two different web sites that I have seen! Am so confused! Please help!

Check directly from the CFO website: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1348:fiancee-spouses-and-other-partners-of-foreign-nationals&catid=140

It says 12 slots, 2pm-5pm.

Since you filed for K1, your fiancee does not have the Immigrant Data Summary.

Thank you for your answer! I notice there is a place for a 2" by 2" passport type picture, does she need to take that with her, or do they take her picture at the CFO in Cebu? I cannot find anywhere it says who gets the picture, but says "is required" comments are surely welcomed!

I'm not sure with Cebu but in the Manila office, they take the picture there.

Topic has been moved from CR-1 Case Filing and Progress Reports forum to the Philippines Regional forum as the issue really is Philippines specific, and the OP is not filing for a CR-1 as he has a fiancee, not a spouse.

May I also remind members that you do not have the right to insult or make snarky comments at other members. If you have a problem with another member's post, please report it rather than take matters into your own hands. I will also remind posters to please try and be 'sensitive' in your comments. Humour and sarcasm are very personal responses and not everyone sees them in the same way. Thank you..

Since it shows you applied for a K-1 visa an "Immigrant Data Summary" does not come with K-1 visa, so you can ignore that part. The "Immigrant Data Summary" only comes with the CR-1/IR-1 visas Package the Embassy sends by 2GO.

Notice Item 3 in the CFO Requirements for Registration:

CFO Requirements for Registration

1. Original and photocopy of Passport;

2. Original and photocopy of visa

3. Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US-bound emigrants (except for K visa holders);

4. Original and photocopy of Confirmation of Permanent Residence for Canada-bound emigrants;

5. Original and photocopy of Certification of Eligibility for Japan-bound emigrants;

6. Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate;

7. Duly completed emigrant registration form; and

8. Payment of the authorized registration fee.

Immigrant data sheet does not apply for K-1.

CFO:

ALL exiting required to attend. There have been changes regarding CFO so for sure read through their website.

Update: Please check the schedule of the counseling session before proceeding to CFO because it is country-specific and the slots are limited only to 15 per session (two sessions per day) for Manila and 12 per session (only one session a day) for Cebu. It is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

CFO Online Registration Form: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/pdf/downloadable%20forms/registrationform.pdf Complete this and print a couple copies to bring to the CFO seminar, it will save you time.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR (CEMAR and marriage certificate if married), certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together. From USC (copies of) - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common requests. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

** From the Family Code of the Philippines: it's 21-25 years old for advice and 18-21 years old for consent. (Some are posted on VJ that they were not asked for this, yet others have been asked, so be prepared)
