Hello there,

At interview, my mother received a 221(g) letter which has two sides with the same information (one side in her country's native language and the other side in English).

After reading the Polish side of the paper, she mailed her passport and all the additional documents that were requested.

Today, after doing some research, I realized that she also had to include the original 221(g) letter. Since the instructions on the Polish side of the letter didn't mention anything about including it, she didn't send it in the package.

Is this going to have a negative impact?

Again, she sent everything except for the 221(g) letter.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated,

Alex

I have also the same problem. We submitted the required documents but haven't include the 221g letter. I remember when I went to the 2GO office, I asked the lady if I'm still going to include the letter and she said it's not necessary. Hopefully she's right.

Hopefully it won't have any negative impact since the submitted documents are really what's important. Until then you can check your status here https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/.
