Bringing sick family

I have a 3 years old niece who got lung cancer back at home. My husband and i wanna bring her here so she could get a proper treatment. Questions:

1. How much the possibility that embassy will give the visa for her?

2. Should her parent come along with her here? Because it is too expensive, and i able to take care of her by myself, we might not take her parents.

3. How long she could stay here after she got the treatment?

4. Is there any body here who has the same experience? Pls share.

Generally you can get temporary visa (same level as tourist visa) but you will need to prove all medical expenses will be covered - hope you realize those likely will be in the range of tens of thousand of dollars and your niece will not be covered under anybody's medical insurance.

Tens of thousands i think is conservative. I was thinking more of hundreds of thousands

1. Fairly good for a 6 months tourist visa for the purpose of medical treatment, if you can show funds.

2. Only you and her family can decide, but if you cannot afford the airfare for them, no way will you be able to afford the medical treatment for the niece.

6. 6 months. There is a possibility of another 6 months extension for a total of one year if it's medically necessary.

My son spent a month in the hospital after a ruptured appendix and that bill was over 100K cancer treatment will be between 500k and 2 million and you will have to show that it is covered to get her insurance. You can try to approach places that specialize in it and see if they will take her on.
