First of all let me all greet you " Happy Easter" and I hope you had a good one.

Anyway I have a question regarding my Travel Document/AP (form I-131) application.

We filled our AOS, Travel Document/AP Form I-131 and EAD last January 31, 2013, after about 2 weeks received our NOA for all our application and NOA for biometric appointment (March 1, 2013) which we already done with that part. First of all (I never able to check my case status online) which makes me worried a lot also but base on my research a lot of people are experiencing the same issue that I have. So I just ignore it and just keep waiting and waiting. Now here are my question: I hope someone can help me with this.

First today March 29, 2013 - I received my EAD card but nothing for my daughter (So I'm wondering about that).

Second we have scheduled or even purchased the tickets going back to the Philippines for our upcoming BIG Church wedding celebration with my family, relatives and friends by the 29th of May 2013 (Wedding is June, we already married here but big celebration is in my home country), but I'm worried because we haven't received our I-131 travel document yet. I called USCIS customer service and they said our application for I-131 are still pending and am being told to wait for 90 days since we filled our case last Jan 31, 2013 which I definitely understand that we are still good for the timeframe ( 90 days will be 30th of APRIL 2013, and now I'm wondering is there any way we could make it faster, like to expedite our travel documents? What should we do? Is there more requirements we should submit to them? or Should we send them a copy of our wedding invitation, round trip tickets, hotel reservation, wedding reception reservation receipt to them? I mean I know we could wait until the 30th of April but then I'm kinda thinking what if we didn't receive it by that time? Could we still expedite our travel document form I-131 even though it was filled and on going process ? How long it takes to expedite I-131, anyone experience to do this?

The reason we set our wedding by June and buy the ticket now because we checked the processing timeframe on USCIS website and it shows 3 months which we should have it before we leave the country.

I hope someone could help me with this.

Thank you and have a great day. God bless all..

G

Calling USCIS Center is not a good idea-like our work attorneys working on our cases always tell us, it may actually jeopardize your chances of getting whatever you are waiting for...well..if you have waited for this long...why not just wait?

Perhaps your daughter's just hasn't arrived yet. They would be mailed separately. Maybe it would arrive Monday.

Is your EAD card a combo card? Does it state "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole" at the bottom? If so, that card also acts as your AP. Since they started issuing the EAD/AP combo cards, often times the AP online status never changes. The EAD might say it was approved, but not the AP. The card that arrives is the EAD/AP combo card though. Perhaps this is the situation for you. >http://www.uscis.gov...0004718190aRCRD

You can always call them to ask about expediting. It will not hurt your case to do so. They will not expedite AP unless it is an actual emergency though, so calling them will most likely be a waste of time.
