I think lately nearly everyone has been getting the P4 email, since they've been quite prompt with sending it out. I haven't called in almost a week now, but I'm feeling an urge to do so tomorrow, seeing as how we STILL don't have a date and tomorrow's already Friday. and our one month anniversary of case complete. sad.gif

Are you guys saying you are getting the P4 email without the interview date assigned? I got the P4 email on April 1st and it had the interview date and time in the attached document itself.

Are you guys saying you are getting the P4 email without the interview date assigned? I got the P4 email on April 1st and it had the interview date and time in the attached document itself.

The P4 IS the interview date and time, so getting an email without it would make it something else. I haven't gotten anything yet, but if others say they've gotten the P4, it's because they found out their interview date and time through email.

I like that the interviewees come back here afterwards to report on how the interviews go. happy.gif Congrats everybody on your scheduled/approved interviews!!

For some reason I was hoping hubby and I would hear something about our interview today, since it's the one month mark, but I woke up to nothing. sad.gif We're going to spend the weekend at a friend's house in the city, so hopefully that'll get my mind off of this depressing wait. Maybe we'll even come home to good news. smile.gif Have a good weekend everyone!

I'm now officially frustrated. This whole process, I've thought, ok, it's the government. I've worked for the government, I understand that patience is the key, it's inefficient... but I'm over it now. How long does it really take to process one Casier Judiciare? I mean, when you get a checklist, the response is not sent to the same attention as the regular packets. I'd just like the case complete. At this point, I think a June interview is most likely. Grrrrrrrrrr.

I'm now officially frustrated. This whole process, I've thought, ok, it's the government. I've worked for the government, I understand that patience is the key, it's inefficient... but I'm over it now. How long does it really take to process one Casier Judiciare? I mean, when you get a checklist, the response is not sent to the same attention as the regular packets. I'd just like the case complete. At this point, I think a June interview is most likely. Grrrrrrrrrr.

So sorry. Soon you will have it. Here's to this next week filled with case complete, approvals and interview dates.

Does anyone here know what kind of documents the embassies require for the interview.

I was planning to send my wife the I-130, AOS and IV packets and we'll add some pictures from wedding/trips/etc.

Do they require any new original documents or are they going to use the ones in the IV packet? I read somewhere I need to also add ID pictures of me (petitioner), is that true?

It's really whats on your countries website and also go by your checklist. My husband has to bring all my original documents to interview since we didn't send to NVC.

The I-1864 updated with 2012 Tax return would be in order also just in case.

Instructions

1. If you want your status to be added/updated, do not say "Please add me". Go ahead and edit it yourself. You do not need permission.

2. Please make sure you are using Rich Text Editor as your message setting (Settings->Posting Settings->Enable visual (RTE))
