The real numbers indicate that on a population basis the numbers of black serial killers exceed white serial killers by a factor of (2). You are right, nobody, at least none of us, bothers to profile them except when black people point at white people and use white serial killers to divert attention away from discussions of black violence.

Only a few systematic accounts of the race and ethnicity of serial killers exist. There is an exhaustive study of African American serial killers (Homicide Studies 2005; 9; 271) by criminologist Anthony Walsh. Walsh identified 90 African American and 323 white American serial murderers, all men operating between 1945 and 2004. (Though Asians, Hispanics and Native Americans were not included in the study, their addition would not alter the fact that most serial killers are white men.) African American serial killers made up 22% of Walsh’s sample, a figure in close agreement Hickey’s enumeration. But, as blacks number well below 22% of the U.S. population, they are actually overrepresented among the ranks of serial killers — roughly by a factor of 2.

Mass shootings include drive-bys where homes and businesses are randomly sprayed and random shootings into crowds at bus stops. These shootings, which happen daily around the country, are so common in the black community they aren't newsworthy anymore. Which is why (the only reason why) mass shootings by white spree killers garner so much attention.

I don't think the Zimmerman story was all about race at all. I think it played a part in it, but I don't think it was "all about" race.

I also didn't say THIS story had nothing to do with race either. In fact, I don't think I've made a single comment about any officials covering anything up at all. If I have, please point me to it. The only comment I've made on this story at all has been about the different reactions different murderers get based on their race.

I wasn't joking when I made that statement. If anyone posted the same things about Islam/Muslims as they do about blacks or any other group, they would be suspended in a heartbeat. One of the most intelligent users here quit posting due to the tolerance of hate, prejudice and racism that is allowed. He happens to be Jewish, and it is ok to bash Jews all you want. I'm inclined to think the Moderators take action against posts based mostly on the number complaints rather than the content.

I posted an identical news story as Steve about Muslims scourging themselves during a traditional holiday.

My post was removed his remained.

In another posting I posted the most in-depth study of how the Children raised by Gays faired on into adulthood. It was removed because the Moderator did not believe the Washington Post was fond of Gays... even though the same report was found in many national publications. (and the research has since been verified).

Yet I have never seen that excuse used to remove anything Steve posts from Mother Jones or any other far-Left source.

Why did she so quickly remove it?

But it's funny how you only post or respond to anything with saying it's about blacks, and you call me a racist. Fact is there are more white serial killers than blacks, and you can't dispute that. You are so biased that you want to include drive bys in your numbers, there isn't even a category for it. But your argument now is the same one that was used in the article I posted this morning. Blacks aren't point the fingers at white people, it's the other way around. Because in this forum, when a black person kills someone, you tend to point out things like no father figures, drugs, and gangs. But when it's the other way around, you are quick to point out how bad it is in the black community.
