Forgot to Copy the Money Order

As per the k-1 guide instructions, I made two copies of the I-129f before sending it in. However, I completely forgot to make copies of the money order as it was the last thing I did. Will this be a problem? I've received NOA2 and started to put together the second packet...

Did you save the money order receipt? I'd imagine that there shouldn't be a problem, because you wouldn't get the NOA1 if they didn't get their money. I've never heard of that being an issue in any of the reading I've done on here or anywhere else for that matter, but if you have a copy of the receipt, you would be able to file with whomever you purchased the money order for proof that it was cashed, if that becomes an issue. But like I said already, if they sent you your NOA1, then they most likely cashed it and they are good. The only way it should have been an issue was on immediate arrival. If there was no payment, they would have sent the package back rejected.

February 8, 2013 - NOA1 Notice Date May 12, 2014 - Biometrics Appointment Done September 27, 2016 - ROC Approved (Checked status via website w/receipt #)

February 11, 2013 - Bank shows check cashed today May 15, 2014 - Interview Schedule Letter (received May 17, 2014) October 6, 2016 - Card Arrived

February 11, 2013 - E-Mail Notification of Case Acceptance and June 5, 2014 - Interview Scheduled at Local office 8:15 a.m.

You don't need the copy of payment for anything. You don't really need the copy of the packet at all. It's just for your records so you know what you sent them in case of any problems. If you got a NOA1, they cashed your payment and will be processing it. They can't claim later that they didn't receive payment, as they will not send you a NOA1 without cashing the payment and getting the money.

This is correct. The money order is for your records, and it's a way to track the payment and make sure it's cashed. NOA1=cashed payment. It's helpful to have a copy of the rest of your package in the event of an RFE and for the interview stage, but it's often not even needed for that. Good luck!
