I recently got a job as a General Manager of a hotel and part of the job is that I have to live onsite in a one bedroom apt that they provide. I still have my house here in town and prefer to receive my mail there instead of getting here at the hotel. My 3 teenage children (ages 16,17,18) and my ex husband are living in that house (he moved in after I moved out). I have full custody of the kids. I am just worried about a home visit or any other questions about my situation in the future. All signs point to the fact that I should change my address but I'm just nervous that one of my employees would loose some important letter or something.

USCIS won't make a visit to your house. If you prefer to receive mail at your house rather than your place of work, don't change your address. It's really up to your preference.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.
