This.is.just.too.frustrating.:crying: We don't deserve this unfair treatment after doing things the legal way.:(

So what they meant is that those who are at CSC will wait for one year and the other service centers will wait for their approval for only 4-5 months???

From USCIS - CSC - March 20, 2013 - "Thank you for your inquiry. We are experiencing a longer processing period than what is currently reflected on our national website. Your I-129F, Petition for Alien fiance, is pending review. We recognize your interest in a final determination on your pending petition. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to finish reviewing your case as soon as available under our resource constraints. If your Form I-129F remains pending 120 days or more from the date of this response, you may call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 to inquire further about the status of your pending petition."

I also went to the USCIS local office and they told me that the new expected timelines they are allowed to give are 1 year from date of application.

I believe this is just padding to get so many of us to stop calling expecting them to do what they say they are going to do in the timeframe in which they said they would do it. Of course they have a right to be upset with us. We are such unreasonable people.

I just want to cry right now. :crying:

This is so sad. We're all missing the love of our lives so badly. I hope they're still a way.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

In GOD we trust. † = ♥

Perhaps they feel they can push the K1s to a lower priority because the fiance(e)s are not family members yet? (Just guessing their logic here).

Probably their reasoning for not sending I-129F petitions to local offices for adjudication like they did for I-130 petitions. We are lower priority. It's not fair but truly and honestly there's nothing to do but wait it out. I don't know if anyone has started a whitehouse.gov petition about this yet but if it gets 100,000 signatures in 30 days then someone in the Administration has to respond in some fashion. It's not a solution but it may light a spark.

If I were in your position I would consider CR-1. Make sure you check with your local office that would process it, to see if you could get an idea of their processing times. Based on timelines here most are in the 3-4 month range, but heard some offices are very slow. Good luck to you and everyone else at CSC.

NOA1 - 8/24/2012

NOA2 - 3/18/2013 Only took 207 days at CSC

There are some offices that have yet to process I-130 applications from August. There are some that process them super quick. However, the field offices are a mixed bag, many of them don't seem aware of current USCIS I-130 adjudication policies.

I do not plan to hang on anything until the announcement is posted on a government site. USCIS states goal of 5 months and average national processing time is 10 months. On a positive note, the VJ site shows CSC down to 194 days.

I don't think the heading of this post is appropriate- USCIS did not make such an announcement......

The national average is a meaningless statistic. The VJ "days to NOA2" prediction is only based on the ones who have received an NOA2, so it is also meaningless for the majority still waiting.
