Hi all -

After a long wait our AOS was approved on March 23rd, 2013.

Today my wife received her conditional Green Card, which has a date resident since 03/19/2013 with an expiry of 03/19/2015

Question: We got married last year May 2012 ( after arriving on K1 ) and applied AOS in june 2012 , should not the conditional green card resident status be since the day AOS was applied ? I could be totally wrong , just checking..

thank you.

I was thinking i will have to apply for ROC based on our marriage date, so got confused.

Now that will be 90 days before the expiration on the card.

Correct. ROC is based on the green card expiration date and not your wedding anniversary.

Yes,

You can use the ROC calculator located in my signature block to find out the date that you can start your ROC process.

Good luck.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
