I think you'll have to have a case number (from the NVC) before you can book med exam (which will have to be at a specific doctor's), but you could get going on the police check as sometimes it takes a bit of time to get it (but also bearing in mind that the police check, once you get it, is only good for a period of time--could be one year, but might be different for Fiji). You'll also need a police check from any country the beneficiary has LIVED in since the age of 16.
