I believe it was in the movie Bowling for Columbine. Charlton Heston was very old at the time, and from the interview in the movie you could tell he was not all there. I think they called it an ambush-interview. Heston announced in 2002 he had Alzheimer's. It's pretty sad really taking advantage of someone like that. Not only the interview, but then putting it in the movie.

Someone obviously gave him permission to have access to Charlton Heston. If he was not in the right mind to do so, one of his agents or publicists should never have allowed it to happen. I don't see what the "ambush" is about. I, too, would be pretty curious as to why Charlton Heston decided that right after Columbine, an NRA rally in Colorado would be a good thing to do.

Not in front of the camera. But do you think celebrities book their own interviews? Or even attend them alone?

That is EXACTLY what happened. I guess people in "some states of mind" don't realize what state of mind they're in. Your defense of this amazes me. I know, it's not possible in your mind that someone from the left could possibly take advantage of an old man with obvious mental issues.

I never said it wasn't possible. I was asking who was responsible for letting it happen if that is indeed the case.

Please don't try to tell me you were simply asking questions there.

They were simply questions. I asked what he did, and who allowed it to happen the way you say it did, since I can't see the video. I know the interview takes place in his home, I guess I find it hard to believe that Michael Moore can just show up to his house and force his way inside and ask questions.

I'm no Michael Moore fan. I haven't seen this movie (obviously) or any of his others. I have no opinion on Charleton Heston as a person, since I know very little about him other than his questionable choice in regards to the timing and location of an NRA rally.

Celebrities generally don't plan their own interviews. And they generally have someone with them that will take control of the time, questions, etc. Hence why I asked .. who, behind the scenes, allowed this to happen?

Jim Carrey would be taken back in a heart beat. Are you kidding? Do you know how much almost everyone loves him (including people who are pro-gun)? It's just Fox News personnel and those that believe everything they say that overreact apparently.

Piers is just annoying.
