Collect evidence meticulously. Plan on your life without him. Seek support from trusted friends and family. Call the number and report him. Truly sorry that this is happening to you :(

Take a record of everything that proves he's been fraudulent. Copy it and send it to the USCIS and ICE. Be proactive about this! If you want you can wait until the 2 year mark and present it at an interview but why put yourself through that. You can divorce on fraud. When you divorce you claim FRAUD as the reason for the divorce. I highly doubt the USCIS is going to grant him a 10 year green card when he's been divorced because of fraud. He obviously did NOT enter your marriage in good faith. Get everything you need to prove that.

I did all that and nothing helped. He'll just claim VAWA. ICE hung up the phone without taking my name or her name. USCIS never acknowledged any of my letters.

He's going to claim the OP abused and battered him? Really? ####### is the GD world coming to?

Lets hope he didn't sweet talk her back into his scam, he has not found her plotting & harmed her

or she did not fall into depression and give up., its a hard thing when you're deceived by a person

who is suppose to be your other half....OP don't do anything stupid, just try to cope, if this kid

was conceived during your courtship or after marriage there's another proof the marriage was fraud

Try to move on and best wishes.

I am not saying it's her case, but i exchanged some emails with at least 10 scammed women that posted here in the VJ,their husbands had just the 2 years GC, and suddenly they changed their mind after posting in the visa journey and decided to forgive their husbands, and after 1 year six of the scammed women emailed me and told me the husband vanished for good after receiving the 10 year GC and they wanted to know how to deport the guy...well it was too late!

Not surprising. People wonder why ICE or USCIS never takes this fraud stuff seriously.

What a horrible situation to find yourself in. You've already been given a lot of good advice (such as keeping evidence in a safe place where he wouldn't be able to reach and destroy it), but i also want to stress the personal safety aspect. When you come out with it, make sure he can't hurt you physically. Noone knows what it could be like when he finds his scheme had been discovered.

I'm the beneficiary.

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

I am so sorry to hear this Hannah. I too had a similar incident. I married my husband back in Dec 2008 in Ghana. I could not go back to visit him because of finances. He was finally approved for his visa like May 2012. Arrived in the USA on Sept. 3, 2012 only to find out a few months while he was here he has a girlfriend back home for how long I have no clue and also a few emails that i saw that were exchanged between him and his uncle stating me as THAT WOMAN OR THAT LADY HELPING HIM..... and he never had intentions of staying here with me very long I have proof in the emails...He could not find work here so he moved away to where his cousin lives and said she has a job already for him....but to make a long story short.....I showed him all that I found out about him but of course denies it all and it means nothing.....he moved away Jan 15, 2013 to Maryland. I will be filing for divorce very soon.

Just keep your head up Hannah and all will work out for the best....I sure know how you are feeling. Praying for you!!!!
