For ten horrific minutes the Giffords dog latched on to a baby seal and would not release even after he had killed it. Thank God it wasn't another child.... is it time to regulate "Assault dogs"?

Absolutely, why would any dog need more than ten teeth except to harm someone?

Now there's an idea - make the pulling of teeth mandatory for all assault dogs that have never been trained as assault dogs and live with a family.

Unless, of course, a waiver is filed, showing full training, a responsible human, no kids under 18 in the home, etc...

Seems this couple likes to be a magnet for legislation - makes sense to add one more since they're so busy with other bills and bill-writers.

The seal put itself in harms way by coming close to shore. I blame the seal.
