225 days now and still waiting for my NOA-2...CSC is sleeping for a very long time.

Anyways, just wanna share something with you all here...

In Sweden, it is a must to show your ID when you pay with a credit card. ID is called 'Legitimation' in Swedish and in short it is called 'Leg.' Was standing behind a tourist at the grocery store.

Cashier: Var det allt? 850 SEK, tack. (Is that all? 850 SEK, pls)

Tourist: I don't speak Swedish.

Cashier: Oh okay...850 swedish crowns pls.

Tourist: - Shows the credit card -

Cashier: Can you please show your Leg.

Tourist: huh? My leg????!!! What for?

Cashier: Yes, your Leg.

I had to intervene because I couldn't stop laughing and told her that the cashier wanted to see her ID! Oh my, the Swedes :)

Have a nice Easter you all!

I was at 2 Swedish grocery stores last week and didn't have to show my id when I paid with my American card. Maybe because I used a PIN?

We definitely don't do that in Denmark, though.

The good news is if it takes longer, perhaps you won't have to arrive in the heat of the summer? That can be a big transition. I'm kind of glad that we are going from it being 3 C now in DK to 12+ C in CT mid April and then to 30+ C with the vacation we are taking a week later. The CT weather will be a nice stepping stone.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Lucky duck, they let you pay debit in sweden?

I could NEVER use my "debit" card here in canada.

It was always run as credit card.

So all the places that only took debit, not credit, I couldn't eat/buy at >=[

My US debit card is like that. Says debit mastercard on it and HAS to be run through as a credit card.

I'm not used to signing anymore with my own MC (half the time I just use the pay pass tap so don't even use the PIN) and it's always odd.

So I'm going to start working out... On payday I'm buying a dvd set and some dumbbells. If i'm moving in June or July I want to be able to sit at the pool at our apartment complex and not be embarrassed. :)
