I'm literarily shaking as I can't beleive this stroke of good luck.

I feel for those that are still waiting and who were in line before us but this is also my second go at bat as we had a K1 denial before.

Onto the NVC stages.

May we all be rejoined with our loved ones as soon as possible In Sha Allah.

Gowon - I got it backwards.

I-129Fs returned to VSC are allowed to expire, at VSC, with no further review by USCIS.

CSC, on the other hand, does go through a review process, and if they want more stuff from you, they will ask for it.

The I-129F casefile is on a long and dreary journey back to CSC - Your wife will most likely be inside the USA if and when you receive any notification about the I-129F being reviewed again.

You could ask that the I-129F be closed, but I have read about some issues on 'which address to use' to send the letter to - it's supposed to be the address in the I-129F approval notice, but even then there's some huge postal mail trail and queue, where sometimes it catches up to the casefile and sometime it doesn't.

When you have a free moment, you can always call into USCIS, get an ISO, and inquire about how to close the I-129F. An ISO will know.

You had it right the first time, actually this is backwards.

CSC expires the I-129F and VCS 'sometimes' reviews and reaffirms them. Sometimes both have send a letter in the past but most often they don't. A NOID/NOIR is supposed to kick in after you file another petition but it usually doesn't. No rhyme or reason just the usual craziness with returned petitions. You don't have to do anything, the I-129F will expire.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

Email &text : May 18, 2015, check cashed May 19,2015, return receipt May 21, 2015 stamped USCIS Lockbox, NOA1 (3x) May 22,2015

Biometrics : June 1, 2015 letter received for appointment June 8, 2015, successful walk-in June 1, 2015

RFE : June 12, 2015 for income not meeting guideline. Income does ( ! ) exceed guideline.

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

what is your recipt 1st 3 letter..

i applay i 130 ,oct 9 2012 my case also transfer NBC but uscis not infom me nathing i recive my 1 notice i 797noa1 only 1 week but after no mail, no any update my recipt no start MSC that's why

MSC and I suspect that it stayed there and was not transfered.

I wrote a mushy bleeding heart cover letter, not sure if it worked.

I stated that I just went through the process a few months back, and filing a different class for same petitioner. Attached NOA2 and denial letter plus email from embassy sating to apply for Spousal visa instead. Since I was going through Nigeria I included tons of logically laid out proof that demonstarted a clear and convincing bona fide. AS an example I had three photo albums, one for pre marriage trips, one for engagement/introduction/marriage itself and one for general hanging out with friends and families on various dates. Each picture was labelled with date, location and who were in the picture.

Not saying this got the fast approval and it may just be dumb luck.

I would strongly suggest to stay on top of your petition. This just happened to someone here. A denies K1. They got NOA2 in January. Well for some reason the service center (NBC) confused they I-129F with their I-130. After many emails and phones calls they finally arrived at NVC 3/22 2 months later. So be very doggit on USCIS. With all these service centers that seem clueless we must help direct them.

The service centers are one hot mess for sure. The OP had a cover letter noting the previous petition and even had a NOA2

attached so that should not confuse but clarify the circumstance. It is what I would have done too, always mention the first petition in a letter with your second filing and attach old NOA2.
