Shouldn't be a problem - I didn't have a SSN when we requested our marriage license.

To be 100% sure, you can phone the County Clerk office and ask them.

The requirements to marry or get a driver's license are controlled at the state level and vary considerably. Any answer you get here may be totally wrong depending on where you'll be living in the USA.

I think you're in FL? Right.

Here's what I found out for that state...

For a Marriage License:

1. Identification: a picture ID such as a driver’s license, state ID card, or valid passport; both parties will also have to provide their Social Security numbers, but do not need to provide their Social Security Cards.

2. Fees: $93.50. Marriage license fees can be reduced by up to $32.50 if you complete a licensed Florida pre-marital course.

For a Driver's License:

1. Proof of identity

2. Proof of Social Security number (If you don't have one, you can bring a letter from the SS Administration stating that you never received one or applied for one)

3. Proof of residential address

4. Proof of completion of a Traffic Law & Substance Abuse Education Course or license from another state, country, or jurisdiction.

We live in Miami, and a friend of mines that went through the same process before I did said you do not need a social security number. He was able to marry his fiancee without it, and for the id he was able to use her passport, because they are aware of the k1 process and not having everything upfront in the beginning
