Thanks this helps.

That person also never came back. Most likely because they were denied.

You should know that even a small variance in answer can result in a denial. Per my previous example, the colour of the blanket. In normal conversation you'd say "well same thing" but for immigration that might not be close enough.

If you're not sure of an answer, say you're not sure or I don't know. Don't guess.

Yes, that post in that thread was just an example of what they might ask. It was to show the OP that they can't 'not worry about it then'.

And you can control the future, whether it's God's will or not.

It is my opinion that the I.O. conducted a perfectly normal AoS interview, perhaps a bit rushed, but not unusual in any way. I would be willing to be money that the Green Card will be in the mail within 2 weeks.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

well I'm here to give an update. The interview went okay. We got someone nicer than the last time. they said they would have taken my health concerns in to consideration for the first interview. They asked questions in regards to the first officers concerns, some other questions like if we took a family vacation, to where, who lives in the home, how many bedrooms, a little detail about tge back yard. they question me first and then they questioned him. He had all the paperwork so he gave her the copies. I manage to get him on some more assets. I'll explain ed to the officer that I had no knowledge about joint after it's because I am so young and we just recently got married, I've never had joint assets in my first marriage. I was honest and the officer was nice. I explained how the first officer only wanted to see joint assets and nothing else. we did not practice, our answers were real like our relationship. like I said in an earlier post since we do everything together we already knew the answer. God was with us. I was even as honest to tell them that I only got more joint assets because I needed them for this. Thanks everyone for your comments.

Cool ! I posit that there was more scrutiny based on the beneficiary's country of origin. Sure, it sucks, but it is what it is.

Since the card arrived this week,

please, I beg of you, update yer timeline over at http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=110296

and write up a USCIS interview review.

Thanks so much !
