There is no fee for renewing the EAD/AP because your AOS is still pending. There's a few members on VJ who posted recently because they were in this situation. :)

You just file some new I-765 and I-131 applications and you include a copy of your AOS NOA.

K-1 Visa Timeline AOS Timeline

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

- Now waiting...

We're now at almost 14 months :( The process is almost same as the first time around, but you'll be ticking some renewal boxes on the forms (same forms as before). There's no charge, and our renewal took a couple of weeks longer to arrive than the original application. USCIS official advice is to apply for the renewal "at least 90 days prior to expiration".

EAD and AP received Apr-05-2012

EAD Renewal received Feb-6th-2013

.....waiting for that AOS for more than a year now.....

Good info about USCIS renewal lead-time.... :thumbs:

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
