Is there an advantage to getting the vaccinations done in country (Ecuador) during the medical exam for the K-1 visa instead of later in the US for the AOS process?

as a rule price is lower out of usa however make sure the forms are filed out completely ask for a copy for yourself. if something gets lost as in our case you have something to send in yourself for aos

First thing I could think of is the difference in price.

Your I-129f was approved in 85 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 225 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS

NOA1: 07/18/13

Biometrics: 08/13/13

EAD/AP approved: 09/17/13

AOS Interview: 10/10/13 (approved)

The immigration forms are quite vague about which vaccinations are actually required. There is no point paying for things you don't need. See the table of requirements towards the bottom of this site:

Thank you that is very helpful! He's in his 20s and it's not flu season, so it looks like he just needs Tdap, measles mumps rubella, and varicella.
