As of March 2013, eleven countries (Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Sweden), and several sub-national jurisdictions (parts of Brazil, Mexico, and the United States), allow same-sex couples to marry.

Almost every country you listed is so degraded in what family even means, they will be extinct in a few generations, due to not even want to have kids .... not sure that is the model we should be emulating.

That is not connected to gay marriage, but a symptom of a sickly society..... gay marriage is another symptom.

Since gay Marriage is still fairly new in these countries, let give the tree time to grow and see what becomes of it and where it leads.

You predict a so-called "social chaos" if these things were to happen, but as usual, your fears have no basis in reality.

The Danno's of the time predicted the same when interracial marriage bans were struck down by the courts. These types are just skeered of everything. Danno is particularly skeered that his partner will propose to him.

You are completely out of your mind. Sure, Danno. Every country I listed is going to be extinct.

How long do we wait? I mean, Canada's allowed it since 2005 and I kind of want my family to be prepared for the extinction.

Parenthood is not an institution.

Are you the official keeper of the List of Institutions?

That said...

It is time to stop taking Europe so seriously. They are out of their freakin' minds over there.

Savings accounts in Spain, Italy and other European countries will be raided if needed to preserve Europe's single currency by propping up failing banks, a senior eurozone official has announced.

What would it be risking, exactly?

Marriage has nothing to do with children. Heterosexuals get married and don't/can't have children.

Same sex marriages will have no impact on heterosexual marriages the same way interracial marriages had no impact on them.

You predict a so-called "social chaos" if these things were to happen, but as usual, your fears have no basis in reality.

-When you redefine what a marriage is, you soon find "others" too want to be included.... and under all your logic, they have every right.

-Allowing Interracial marriage did not "redefine" marriage it simply modified the regulations governing it... in the same way if a state were to change the age limit.

- I have asked you before and I will again, show me in history the societies which placed gay relationships on the same level as normal one? Where are these great societies that we can learn from them?
