So Western Europe needs more immigration. That's been argued for decades now. And it will happen whether Western Europeans want it or not. It will happen because it must in order for these countries to continue functioning. Your point is not supporting your opposition to same sex marriage, it is an argument in support of the immigration reform that is sorely needed in Western Europe.

'wife' to 'spouse' to 'partner' was up for edit.

Thankfully, those changes were nixed, as a lot of homophobes in the Congress caught it and had the new edits struck.

I'm brown, my parents immigrated here from a country that was then and still is very anti-homosexual.

My dad was not pro-** during his lffetime, even after nearly 40 years of living in the US.

My mom is coming around though.

I am comfortable with same-sex marriage but it's not one of my priorities. My younger sister is a strong supporter and it is one of her priorities.

Point being...

We are not like our parents.

The attitude you have is what's dying off. You are becoming the (vocal) minority. How does it feel?

In the future, kids will read about people like you in textbooks and shake their heads as to why anyone would be against gay marriage, the same way we look back and wonder why anyone would be against interracial marriage. History will make you look even more foolish than you make yourself look.
