Officially today is our anniversary with the USCIS.. Happy waiting for me and my hubby.. I dont know if they will still going to give the approval.. All I know is that we did our best and we submitted complete documents.. We asked for help and never got any help back,.. So I will leave it up to the ALmighty God...!

Teague, it's so frustrating, honey. I wish I could do something to make things easier for you. I know you've done everything possible that you can do. Even knowing what it is they want would be helpful, wouldn't it? I'm not a praying woman but I keep you in my thoughts.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

Filipinos and Filipinas, I was just talking to a good friend at work who is also a Filipino. He says the road is long and hard from the Philippines, and the wait can drive you crazy, but please don't despair! He and his family had trouble with their petitions as well. It seems to be the rule rather than the exception for applicants from the Philippines, but on the other hand there are a LOT of people here who have been successful after all the trouble is over! It is cruel to be separated from our loved ones, but as my therapist says, delay is not denial. She said something else recently that I took to heart, and that is, "Worry does not give strength to tomorrow; it steals strength from today." Don't let anyone or anything steal the strength you need to get through the day.
