Hello VJ family. Greetings from Ghana.

As far as pictures go are they looking for specific things? What pictures should be taken and turned in to the embassy? Do they want the goofy pictures of us being silly together or would that be inappropriate? Can we turn in several pictures from the same event or do they want a lot of variety? Are pictures with the date/time stamp important? Most of my pictures are taken with my iPhone. Will they be an issue? What are the do's and dont's for pictures as your evidence?! Thanks in advance.

I submitted some of my pictures taken with an Ipod touchfor the I-129F and that wasn't a problem. Just make sure you print them out a little smaller so the resolution is still good.

They are mainly looking for variety - different events, photos with family and friends, and some candid shots. Don't feel like sending more than two pictures from each event is going to help.

Date and time stamped photos are best if you can manage them. If not, you should write on the back of each photo the date, location, and people in the photo. Actually I did that anyway even though many of our photos were date/time stamped. Different locations and days will definitely help. As for photo content, the best advice I can give is to only send photos that you would be comfortable showing to complete strangers. Silly and goofy is probably fine but raunchy I'd leave out.
