8 months since I last saw my fiancee. I went to see her last August almost immediately after the NAO1 was received. I can't take it anymore. By all accounts she should be here already. But I am stuck at CSC with virtually no indication when this will be resolved. So I am going to go there in April for a "long week" (1 workweek sandwiched by two weekends). This will be my 4th trip to Philippines to see her and 6th time overall seeing her in person. Wish me luck.

PS. I am hoping Murphy's Law kicks in and as soon as I drop $1300 on a plane ticket, we will receive our NAO2. I don't care if that happens. It will be the best $1300 ever spent.

Have a safe trip. We are also planning to see each other again in Sao Paulo, Brazil anytime soon. Last time we were together was on my birthday last November. Enjoy your time together and hopefully you'll have NOA2 before you fly here. Good luck!

I remember that I spent 2011 Christmas holidays with my then fiance and when He returned to the States on early- mid January our NoA 2 was wating for him on the mail :). The largest period we couldn't see each other was 3 month (twice september - december/ january -march) and we were already loosing our minds! But you know what? Even when is really hard being away from your better half, it only make your future marry life even better! I think everything that we'd been through was totally worth it! This whole k1 visa drama made our relation stronger and made us 1000% more committed to our love. I see other couples (who had the chance to had a regular relationship) and we are wayyy different. Being apart and struggle to be together since the very beginning taugh us to enjoy every single moment together, not to give up easily, to work for our relationship and build a strong-happy-healthy marriage. I think that we give more value to all the things we struggle and battle to get. Now that it's been almost a year since I finally moved to the US (on april 20) we look back and we could not believe not only, how fast time went by but also how much we'd accomplish together and how much we grew up as couple, but always thanking God for all the things He put us through. What it kepts us going, was the thinking of: instead of thinking how much time we had ahead with rather to think that every day that went by was a day closer to be together. Enjoy your time together and think, embrace and believe that soon you will be together

That exact situation happended to me two weeks ago, feed up with the process I flew to the US to see my Fiancee second day I was their we received our NOA2. Still waiting on the NVC now.

NOA2 was a bit of an anti climax really as it is by no means the end of the waiting more just the end of the beginning. Hope your visa moves forward soon.

i would like to go back for another visit to the U.S. but its so expensive to fly! plus i have to buy 2 tickets (1 for our son). they do give child fare for that, but its really not much off an adult fare!I noticed the prices have gone up too since i last flew out at the beginning of December. With the cost of my medical, police clearances etc., flights back to U.S. once i have my visa, and a wedding to pay for, i dont see a visit happening any time soon. I am guessing we will make it back by the end of September if we are lucky! If i did go to the U.S. for a visit again before receiving NOA2, i am not sure if i would get in at POE, as they seem really strict. Having said that, it doesnt make sense if they wouldnt allow another visit when they like people to have visits as proof of an ongoing relationship.

Not sure if i should expect more than 10 months max waiting for approval?

The longest we have spent apart is a year and 3 weeks (during my pregnancy up until our son was 10 months old) Sadly my fiancee was unable to make it over for the birth because of starting a new job. However i would like to think we would make it back to the U.S before our son is 2. I cant bare him missing our son`s next birthday and Christmas. Hopefully delays at the CSC will not go on that long.

We all know being far apart from our loved ones really hurts and makes me so sick for not seeing him for 7 months,so just enjoy the moment you will be together. My USC fiance also will be visiting me here again this end of March. Goodluck and God bless!
