NVC: case not received yet OR no case no yet

Give it at least a week before you call. My NOA2 date was 2/07. The NVC received my file 3/11 and I didn't get a number to 3/25. They say it 3 to 4 weeks after it is received at the NVC for you to get a number.

Our case was expedited at the USCIS by getting my husband's Senator to intervene (basically, we tried to expedite the case as my son's autism worsened when my husband left for the US to prepare a home for us but we were told by the USCIS that it wasn't a valid enough reason to expedite); do you think it will also be expedited with the NVC or do we need to put another expedite request through, if we can at all?

12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

NVC - 119 days NVC to Visa in hand
03/11/2013: NVC received (31 days from NOA2 at USCIS till received at NVC )
03/25/2013: NVC Case no. assigned
03/27/2013: Paid AOS fee (shows paid 3/29/13)

I received my Noa2 april 11 , we called NVC and they said they havent got it yet ...we called after 2 weeks and called again after a month... Very frustrating... 1month and 6 days and counting...

I totally agree why is it taking so long???? didnt we go through enough wait with uscis why stresz ppl some more I dont understand!!!!!

Have been told to wait 10-15 business days to receive a case number from NVC, but I still call every second day anyway :P

Mine took 2 weeks from when they showed it received to when I got a new case number.

Is every approved letter say the same thing like this ?Mine approved on April 1st. Still not in NVC yet. I just look at my approved notice. it say below:

The above petition has been approved.The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitionning is in the united states and will apply for the adjustment of statues,He or she could contact the local USCIS office to obtain Form I-485..Application for permernent Residence.A copy of this notice should be submited with the application.

If the person for whom you are petitioning decides to apply for a visa outside the united states based on this petition ,The petioner should file form I-824,Application for Action on an approved Application or Petition,To request that we send the petition to the Department of State National visa center(NVC).

The NVC processes all approved immigrate visa petitions that require consular action.The NVC also determines which consular post is the appropriate consular to complete visa processing.It will then forward the approved petition to that consulate.

THIS FORM IS NOT A VSIA NOR MAY BE USED IN PLACE OF VISA

Then it's a NOTICE .

seems need to file I-824.Please tell me what your NOA2 say.
