So including today, it has been 217 days since receiving NOA1 on August 20th 2012...I still cannot believe how long this first step of the process is taking. At the time of filing the waiting time was 5.5 months...Not sure how many people know but USCIS Partially updated their dashboard website days ago (the page where u enter your case number to check status). The CSC average for I29-f went from 5.5 month processing to 6.6 months...which still does not even seem accurate considering i am now into 7 months, and there are people that filed long before me still waiting..

Anyway my point being, how much longer could it possibly take?? i mean 217 days and not a word? seriously... has anyone on vj had to wait 9 or 10 months for an approval or longer? I know nobody will have the answers as to how much longer this ridiculous process is going to take, but it would be interesting to see if anybody has had to wait more than 8-9-10 months just for NOA2?

You have been placed at the back of the line after millions of criminals and the by-products of their crime (their offspring), who have been given priority over the law abiding people trying to complete the immigration process legally. Welcome to Obama's America.

I read about people who waited over a year, but that had to be an extreme case. It's even more frustrating when you look back at, for instance, 2009 and see people were approved in 4 months on the average!

There are quite a few who have had to wait a while for their NOA2, but I believe not at the quantity we are currently seeing at CSC. Now, it seems to be the majority of filers after July 18 are still waiting.

Alex&Amy is right. They processing Obama's_illegal_Children and put all others into backlog

I'm still waiting for Jul 29 submission

My point exactly...there are people such as yourself who are still waiting from mid-late july and it's becoming beyond a joke. the worst part is they don't update their processing info or keep us informed, nor are they easily contacted (which is useless anyway because it achieves nothing). We're just expected to be kept in the dark and sit and wait patiently for 7-8-9 months?... "Obama's_illegal_chinldren"..thats the "DREAM Act" or something right???
