Hey Guys,

I received my NOA 1 on October 3rd but still waiting for NOA2. i called the USCIS help line and they are telling me that they are working on the files from July 2th.

Its almost 5.5 months and help my status on the website says "initial review".

Any fellow filers who are around the same time frame and havent received their NOA2.

The separation from my fiance is getting to me and its getting harder harder with each passing day.

thanks

We're in the same boat. We applied and they received around october 4th. We were hoping to get a reply sometime next month. But if they're only on july's did they get you an estimate onto when they'd begin the applicants from october? We are growing so very tired emotionally as well. The patience is hard.

I suggest you both reference IRS list, to the op base upon igors list VSC is processing petitions from September, they will likely really get into October petitions in another week or two

As a VSC filer myself I do not pay as much attention to csc, based upon igores list I would say they are solidly in July

The people are at VSC are like robots, they are reading the info from the website. it gets to your nerves.

The answer to any of our questions is " we are not at the capacity to have that answer" or " We dont know"

They did asked me to email to the NCSC ( Email is NCSC-Customerconnet@uscis.dhs.gov). i got a email from them after 15 days.

Dear Harsh Sheth:

On behalf of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), thank you for your email, dated February 22, 2013, regarding your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e).

We understand the concern that caused you to write. USCIS records show that your case was received on October 3, 2012. The Vermont Service Center is processing Form I-129F petitions that were received on or before July 2, 2012. Therefore, your case is still within the normal processing time of other cases of this type at this office.

We trust that this information is helpful.

Sincerely,

National Customer Service Center

jf

Ours is through the California service center. I have no idea who to contact or if they're also processing July cases?

You can email NCSC at NCSC-Customerconnet@uscis.dhs.gov. (this is for all the processing centers)

Put you vital info like Case number,Petitioner name and Applicant name. write a short email stating when did you file, when did you receive your NOA1 and its been xxx months and we havent received anything yet.

they normally email back within 10-15 days.

I'm afraid California Service Center is just working reeeeeaaally slowly at the moment. If you read through all the other posts on the forum and look through the immigration timelines, you'll notice that Vermont is processing really quite quickly, and California is almost at a dead stop.

I suggest you buckle in and expect a wait of at least another couple of months, if not more. California's processing times are very slow currently and there's relatively little you can do about it :(
