Some stores have smaller sizes online not offered in store (Gap, Athleta, Banana Republic, and other stores I found out)

http://www.eshakti.com/ offers custome size; you put your measurements in and they cut it just for you :)

Zappos and 6pm for shoes.

Tailoring helps a lot...

Thanks a lot. The site is very handy! A bit pricy than those on stock in stores I have checked out but I have ordered a lovely dress for some special occasions.

For shoes there's always Zappos. They have shoes in pretty much any size. My wife has the opposite problem you do needing size 9D which makes retail shoe shopping largely futile.

In San Francisco now and just asked my hubbie take me to Zappos and we shopped for me in the Girls' section. Thanks for the recommendation!

Welcome to the bay area,

I am in San Jose, there are a lot of asians out here in the bay area and petite, so most of the places at the mall carry petite sizes, you just have to look around you don't really have to get into the kids section, but at some places that's the only available options.

Make sure you buy all colors. It seem that every week she is getting shoes size 5.5 and trying to get all colors lol
