It's better they cut their useless call center staff than their service center staff that need to be approving our applications. Personally I think they could do with scrapping the call centers all together they have no purpose.

The CSRs are not employed by USCIS, they are supplied by another company. The people that actually touch the applications don't work on Saturdays. So this won't slow down the process at all.
