Our i-130 got approved on the 14th february last month and we were directed to file one form i-824 which am not familiar with.Please does anyone have info on this or have a similar case?and how long will it take for us to hear from them again?Please help........

Did you change consulates or list the incorrect one on the I-130?

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

No.....we didn't change consulate.The consulate on the I-130 is where we wanted it.we haven't changed anything.

Did they perhaps mistakenly think the non-USC was in America?

Who did you hear from?

Have you called USCIS and talked to an ISO?

Who did you hear from?

Have you called USCIS and talked to an ISO?

Am confused at the moment.No we haven't called USCIS.When our petition was approved, it stated that, we follow any instructions stated in the approval notice.i have been reading a lot about the process and haven't come across filling the form i-824. so i was surprise we were asked to file it.In the original petition, we stated clearly i was not a US citizen and wasn't staying in the US.

Several things might have happened and one of them is the petition got sent somewhere where it shouldn't have been due to a USCIS error. The USC needs to get on the phone and not speak to a customer service rep, but someone higher up who can help them sort this out. No one on here can help more than that without the USC figuring out what happened with a phone call.
