Whats so sad is, she really sees herself as a former slave.. because her bloodline may have that history.

If that is the case almost all of us could claim we too are "former slaves" as many of our bloodlines also some place in history were held as slaves.

We are at the bone almost. And sequester that is across-the-board cuts will literally destroy us and put us in a recession.

I don't want to hear the fact that the president is divisive. The President is leading and he has led well. The American people are listening. When are our friends on the other side of the aisle going to listen? I want to challenge this body to be the kind of "Lincolness attitude."

As yesterday was the official birthday of President Lincoln, February 12, and although it was a tragic time in our history, I can assure you that it shows the greatest promise of America when people could come together and do something great. I stand here as a freed slave because this Congress came together.

Since she was born in Queens and slavery was abolished for everyone born after 1799 (before Lincoln was born) in New York she has to be the oldest living human on record

My wife's ancestors were slaves in Russia. Russia had slavery until 1867. (2 years longer than we had slaves) They did not have a civil war over it because they did not have Democrats willing to go to war to keep slavery. All the slaves were white and were owned by wealthy white landowners...kinda just like Plantation owners. The Russian term for slaves was "serfs". Alla's ancestors were serfs.

Alla is a freed slave! Take your slavery whining and stuff it. In addition to white slaves, BOTH her Grandfathers were murdered by fascist pigs because they were Slavic. How many of your grandparents were murdered for their race? In addition to her grandfathers, 22 million others were murdered because of their race...a WHITE race. In just 4 years! Just ONE generation ago. Her mother was a little girl then. I can sit across the table from her TODAY and look in her eyes. Have you ever looked in the eyes of a person that has seen murder and destruction of their entire world because of their race? Seen hundreds of their school friends shot in the head and thrown in a hole 300 at a time because of their race? I have. She has more dignity than 10,000 whining Sheila Jackson Lees.

Are there any monuments in YOUR hometown to thousands of children murdered for their race? Are there any plaques in various parks identifying mass graves of people murdered because of their race? Take a walk in a Ukrainian city park sometime. I do not even have the fortitude to read the plaques anymore.
