Hey, ladies! Hope everyone has had a great couple of weeks. Just wanted to drop in and say "hi" to you all!

Amed and I had our big wedding on Nov. 4th. It was chaos leading up to the date (I got strep throat 4 days before the wedding), but everything paid off. It was absolutely gorgeous! We had it outside by a creek at sunset. We had a bagpiper play the processional and recessional, and it was a total surprise for Amed. He loved it! Once I get some pictures back I may post them.

Amed's friends came from the mosque and did our Islamic ceremony in a private room after our regular ceremony. It was very nice and they stayed to enjoy the festivities. The next day, we left for a week in Hawaii! It was so beautiful there. I highly recommend going there.

We got back in late Monday night, and I am back at work today. :( I am trying to play catch-up on the boards. Did I miss anything good? Any exciting news from anyone about visas, etc? I hope y'all will fill me in so that I don't have to wade through all of the posts.

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

Welcome back!!!!!!! Your wedding ceremony sounds so beautiful and I hope that we will get to see some pictures...I am glad that you enjoyed your honeymoon...too bad you had to get back to work so soon...
