i need your help in answering this question. i have a sponsor who has only been in the county for 18months (a green card holder), who only has a one year tax return, although shes on 70k salary per year. can i still go ahead and use this sponsor, am a bit worried because am not sure if the 3yrs tax declaration is a must.

Is she still under the sponsorship of someone else? I doubt she will be able to sponsor you. I might be wrong though

she is but i dont think that should be any problem, she has a decent income and besides green card holders can definitely be a sponsor, it doesnt matter if your green card is valid for a yr or ten yrs. thats what i think but i would appreciate every suggestions and advice

Read the instructions again, only one year or tax returns is required. She will also need an employment letter, paystubs, and proof of her LPR status.
