Hi,

I am doing a research to help a friend of mine who she is from India went to U.S embassy for F1 visa and the officer gave her a RED CARD, kept the passport and said we are still investigating. The questions she has are

what is RED card means?

when they keep your passport and give you RED card is this a positive sign?

what other card colors given by U.S embassies ?

Are these carding system new, Is everyone gets a card?
