Nobody knows. Some petitions are processed as early as in 5-6 months, while others take up to 8-9 months.

The good news since you are on the 5 month mark is that your turn is likely to come up in the next couple of months, though there's no way to know when exactly. Try to be patient, go on with your life as normal, don't obsess over it, and it will come when it comes.

Apparently CSC has decided to follow the example of VSC. The I-751 processing line is present and says "6 months" just as the VSC does. As for the reality of the matter, it is anyone's guess.

Alright, so we have conflicting information. I called USCIS this morning and was told that for csc the processing time for I 751 is 6 months.

As of yesterday morning CSC had caught up so much by dropping from 9 months to 6 months for I-751 processing . I checked yesterday afternoon and this information was correct at the time!

If that is so, that's terrific news! Hope it continues this way. The website has been updated too smile.png

It's been anything from 7 to 9 months in recent months, and only few people would get processed at the 6 month mark, so if they have now cut it down to 6 months and keep it up, we can all hope smile.png

Though for me it's still a long way to go 'till October tongue.png

A quick check at the threads of previous months' filers reveals the following for CSC as of today:

November 2012 filers: 11 out 18 approved (61%)

December 2012 filers: 10 out of 19 approved (53%)

January 2013 filers: 9 out 22 approved (41%)

This is specific to VJ members and may not reflect the overall processing speed, as our community only represents a small fraction of the petitions they receive and process each day.

Also, it is possible that certain VJ members receive approvals and just don't come back to report it, so their info never gets updated. But overall, these threads can also be a good indication of current processing trends.

I agree with you.

Some members just dont comeback to update their info.

In my opinion January filers are being proceed as of now, February should be next pretty soon.
