CSC HAD stopped towards the end of the year, but they have started back up again recently. If you go by website updates, you will see that they have had no movement in December and January, but recently, with the moving of DACA cases, CSC has started processing more I-129F applications. See Igor's List and you'll notice that applications are starting to move through CSC recently

It has not gone up significantly, if at all.

Depends on your point of view. I consider that going from a basic standstill to some movement, doesn't take too much to be considered significant. We won't know for sure for awhile yet what the actual effect will be, but we are better off today (in CSC) then we were a few weeks ago, and VSC is better off today than they were a few months ago.

I agree that it looks like there is a little more activity, but due to the error of VJ data vs real data, it's kind of hard to determine for sure. It does look like it VJ CSC averaging ~1/day this month, as opposed to about 0.5/day in Jan/Feb. So if this is the case, it is a doubling of the effort, which is better than nothing, but is still less than the input of cases, and still means the lengthening of time to NOA2's. When I see ~ 3 NOA2's a day, then we are at least back towards normalcy.

Did you see that they updated the CSC processing times page? Update date of 03/22, still showing processing cases from July 18... We are going on 4 months with that date... a third of a freaking year. Grrrrrr

Agreed, they are far from being to where they need to be. Looking at VSC, they are outpacing their incoming by 2/1 margins. Looking back at CSC, they have the ability to output up to 3/1 margins in the past, so they are still being slow, but I see this as merely the beginning. I am hopeful that with the recent movement of DACA to Texas, case workers will soon be caught up and get into high gear on K-1 cases. Of course we don't know just how long it will take them to get into gear. I feel for all those who have been in the July-October timeframe. Personally, I still have plenty of time to wait in the queue before I'm even going to have reason for real concern. They could be a year behind by then or they could get themselves all caught up when my time draws closer. I'm going to continue to hope for the latter while preparing for the former

Here's one opinion

<< Since DACA went into effect, it went from "we won't process these petitions until fees collected allow hiring of additional resources" and "These petitions will take 3-6 months to process" to nearly IMMEDIATE approvals (over 100,000 so far), nearly 500,000 applications received, and as many as 600,000 still expected. CSC is practically at a standstill and slowing. Couple that with potential for more chaos from any comprehensive package passing this year and some people are going to be in for a loooooong wait. It is nice to know that these are being prioritized over petitions filed by american CITIZENS, and accelerated beyond capacity of the USCIS to use due diligence, while we are scrutinized under a microscope and made to wait. These folks are already here and have been here for years. God forbid they had to wait another 6 months for a work permit. I'm so pissed right now. If you check the USCIS website for case status, it now says they won't even have new cases online for 30-45 days after receiving them. Just a month ago it was pretty much the same day. They are being overwhelmed. Political pressure has dictated what is to be priority, and it's not us. Good luck to everyone waiting. >>

USCIS updated their site. Processed Visa's still says July 18 but now it's as of Jan 31 2013 instead of December 31 2012. In other words, it appears nothing was processed in January.

Yes :( I'm dissgusted.

I'd not last much at my work if I were as productive as CSC.
