Mother cites robbery attempt in her baby's shooting death

Gang Initiation tends to be robbery or the physical assault of an adult, less so killing/raping adults but I've never heard of anyone (gang member or not) getting high 5s or props for harming much less killing babies.

How so, just the extreme unnecessary act of shooting a baby?

I agree is rather unusual without some jealousy or extreme rage involved (an ex pissed off ....situation).

But come on put 2+2 together, no sane person would fabricate such a cover-up for something..... in such a public, place, so easily disproved.

If the incident was claimed to have happened at home, a home invasion type thing, now that would be more typical of a coverup of another crime.

I've seen/read where an adult desperate enough enters into a deal with teenagers to kill a specific person. Quite a few times the teenagers who are asked to kill are poor or fit the character of someone who the police would most likely not believe over the person who hires them or wouldn't believe period. If these kids are from the hood then the odds are really against them.

I must say the victim's mother, to me, looks like she needs more acting lessons in crying.

They do not get excited about this type of crime for 3 reasons.

(1) These types of crimes just prove that the gun laws they demand will never be obeyed by criminals,thugs,and wack jobs, and may actually provide reasons to voters to protest any new gun legislation/laws they are wanting/demanding.

(2) Since it involves up and coming thugs committing these types of crimes, the Race Card can not be used and no value is added to the card.( the card might actually lose value if the offenders are minorities, so best to keep out of the spotlight on these types of crimes)

(3) Babies were involved.

You have to look at both sides of the story also, that baby may have not shown the proper "respect" to the shooter, so he capped him! Crimes like this sometimes actually make China's re-education camps seem like a good idea.

The first thing I do is ask myself ....Logistically, how could this work?

Lets assume someone kills the child at home, as soon as the child dies, decomposition begins, how long would it take for this middle aged couple to locate teens from another social and age group and then set up this very public killing of a child to cover how the child really died?

The coroner will answer this question soon enough... at least whether the infant was alive when shot and any additional trauma to the child.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE right?

Those involved and the very public location it was carried out suggest -No one planed it.
