Hello !!!

Anyone know where I can get some Irn Bru in NY without having to mail order it ?

Since my dear husband has been here, I have been able to secure at least one of his favorites (Branston Pickle), but I am having a VERY hard time with finding some Irn Bru- his favorite drink...

The closest thing I can find to match it is if I go into the Latin section of town and get some Kola Champagne.

He says it's pretty close-but I'd still like to have the real deal.

Thanks,

Rose

We ahve a couple places in Los Angeles that have it. I would recomend googling for Highland Games in your area and then find the vendors that set up there. We always see people with Irn-Bru at the games.

BTW, i have a new drink for you when you do get it, its called a bu-bru. Malibu rum and Irn-Bru. Quite tasty.

You might want to try 'Myers of Keswick'. They sell everything from Ribena to PG Tips, from McVites buscuits to cumberland sausages. Even Cadbury chocolate.

634 Hudson Street (btw Horatio and Jane Streets)

Another place to try is 'Tea and Sympathy' or 'A Salt and Battery'. They are both on Greenwich Av around 12th or 13th Street. Again they sell English produce. Good fish and chips too (thick cut chips....mmmmmm). Tea and Sympathy is a tea room that does good food, like bangers and mash w/ onionj gravy. Very nice.

Enjoy

:D Thank you for all the GREAT info everyone !

We usually head into that part of NYC on the weekends (we're suburbanites).

That Malibu/Irn Bru combo sounds fine ! I think my MIL would like that as well-so I am going to pass it along !

Cheers !!!
