It's in a pinned thread at the top. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/

You have plenty of time to start at the beginning.

Read the medical thread jumping in a few months back rather than the beginning...maybe here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/8321-london-medical-knightsbridge-doctors/page__view__findpost__p__5516664

Read the interview reviews. Do you know where to find those?

perfect thank you, does my fiancee have to order his Tax transcripts as well as a letter from his employer and details from his bank in the US?

I am getting confused with what these abbreviations are and what we have to send with each of them.

I-129F RFE

RFE Reply

I-129F NOA2

NVC Recieved

NVC Left

Consulate Recieved (would this be London)

Packet 3 (what would be in this and what would we have to send)

Packet 4 Received?

I am trying to be ahead of ourselves as my fiancee works 28 days worldwide and is only home in the USA for 28 days every 2 months and also I have a visit scheduled to the US next week with my son and worried a bit about immigration, I have letters etc with me confirming I will be coming back to the UK after a 2 week vacation. As I will have my young son with me I am trying to make sure I have all documents collated to be as smooth as can be if Immigration have questions for us

thank you for your help

First--your VJ timeline will give you a predicted petition approval date range. Yours has Texas Service Center and needs to be changed. You got your receipt --Notice of Action aka NOA1. It will tell which Service Center has your file--California or Vermont. Fix that in your timeline. Then you will have a more accurate prediction because Texas Service Center isn't processing your petition. The dates will change on you but as you near the predicted approval by a few weeks, it's time to get in gear for the London paperwork. Until then, read the pinned thread and get familiar with what is coming down, once your petition is approved. There is no action to be done by you for months unless you get an RFE, so just read and learn.

RFE- Request for Evidence: if you made any mistakes in the I-129F petition package, forgot to fill in something, or forgot to include something, then you will get a notice from USCIS telling you what they need for you to send.

NVC- National Visa Center: the hand-off place where USCIS sends your file to the Dept of State (DOS) once they have approved your petition. DOS is the agency over the NVC and all consulates. The National Visa Center will assign you a new DOS case number starting with LND (London, your consulate). Then in a matter of days your file will be winging its way to London.

All the packet stuff is explained in the pinned thread in Post #6. Reminder of thread to read: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/350185-london-2012-k1s-from-noa2-to-interview-thread/

Post 1 only gives adult immunizations, but if you will say your son's age, I'll tell you what jabs are required for him.

thank you so much I have adjusted my timeline as it was vermont, is this the average waiting time or is there a chance it may come sooner or even later?

do you think there will be any issues with me going over next week? perhaps getting interviewe with customs? I was over there in February and all they said to me when I said I was visiting my boyfriend was that I was not to get married, which I assured them I wasn't going to, but when I was over on that trip the I-129F was not sent yet

I think we are pretty much organised with the rest of the paperwork?

Each time you go back after such a short time, you up your chances of somebody thinking you come too often. It depends on the officer working immigration that day. Did you take your son before? Were you asked to show you had his father's permission to take him out of the country?

Waiting times are based on everybody's experience who posts a timeline on VJ. If people start getting approved quickly, then your timeline prediction will adjust to show the faster trend or vice versa. It's a mathematical calculation based on how long it is taking VJ people who started before you at Vermont.

Your documentation is good.

Read this info from the UK http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-living-abroad/how-we-can-help-faqs#three

And similar info from the US (the first set of bullet points) http://www.dhs.gov/how-do-i/travel-overseas
