Hi to all, I have been checking VJ and i would say it was really helpful to my K1 visa.

now married, and did send my AOS along with AP and EAD on Jan 17 2013. My question is

i received an email 3/14/2013 that they approved my AP and Employment aut for card production. THese

are separate emails. Then 3/19/2013 I received Employment Aut update that it was for

card production again. Now another letter that it was picked up by USPS. I did get a tracking number

and see that it will arrive on 3/22/2013 which is tomorrow.

My question is, I have never received that AP letter that they mentioned they mailed on 3/14/2013.

Do i need to worry whether I am missing an instruction?

Also, I noticed that my AOS itself is still on the acceptance but not even in the inital review

button, my receipt number starts with an MSC too.

Has anyone experienced the same? If i received the Emp card tomorrow do i still need to worry about

not even receiving that AP mail?

Thank you people!

Don't worry about not getting an AP email. After the first one about the AP approval, you won't get others. The EAD card should be combined with the AP card, so as long as your EAD card is on the way, you're good. Look at your EAD card when you get it, and make sure it says "this card serves as advanced parole" at the bottom.

Also, my husband filed AOS on 12/27, and still no movement. If you get transferred to your local office, you will probably get an interview soon. If you are being processed at the National Benefits Center (MSC), enjoy the wait. I think it's going to take months there, but then you might not have an interview.

Not to worry, a notice is sent at various points (we got 3 notices I believe). EAD card is a combo card, it will have the AP at the bottom. Updates on different systems are done independently...eventually they all will reflect status, but it can take days.

As soon as you get it you are good. Check that your names is spell correctly, etc.

It is normal that your AOS case update is stuck at the "Acceptance" stage. It does that to everybody. :) It will be updated if you get a RFE/approval/interview/denial.

All AOS cases have a MSC receipt number, this is normal too. You may or may not get an interview.

Actually, "You WANT an Interview"!!!!

Those of us who so far do not require an interview are "STUCK" at NBC with no resolution in site. There are people that are now over 8 months waiting because of NBC. Those scheduled for interviews have been approved in less than 4 months.
