Hi guys,

It was my interview in London yesterday and I was given an approval

Eric and I are over the moon but I have to be honest and say it was very tough for me emotionally and Im feeling totally exhausted now instead of the elation I expected to have.

The lady that interviewed me was lovely but did ask some tough personal questions which I hadn't expected.

I want to write a review but don't want to frighten folk so am unsure what to do as I know we all read reviews and try and relate our own journeys to them.

Anyway approval given, just need the visa to arrive quickly now!!!!!

HUGE thanks for everyones support,I could not have doine it without this wonderful site and some of the people that give such valuable information and advice. You all rock

I will be going to interview in the next few months so I would LOVE to know what your experience was, personal or not.

At least if I know what might happen I'll be a bit more prepared! At the moment it's a bit of a mystery what they might ask..

Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS :star:

You should write your review. It's much better to have realistic expectations of what is going to be asked at the interview, that is far more helpful than only reading the "perfect!" interview scenarios. Many of us were lucky and got easy questions, or had known our fiance/es a long time and anticipated most of the questions we were presented with. :)

Edit: PS congrats on your approval.

Congrats! And as others have said, definitely post a review even if the questions were personal (you don't have to tell everyone your answers). I can't tell you how helpful it was to go through the London consulate reviews when my husband was about to have his interview. It totally helped him prepare.
