actually, that email address is relatively new, coming into existence after the 15 th o August, 2012, when USCIS shifted adjudication focus onto DACA casefiles. The rest of petitioners/filers who were NOT DACA had some big data error with USCIS (cause USCIS caused a data error that still isn't fixed)

and

that email address for inquiry is actually useful. A human at USCIS actually does research once the email is received.

So, sorry, unsure what to tell you about the action of 'palming off', really.

Well, indeed. We just emailed that address, and he's filling out the contacts for his senator and congressman. Hopefully one of them can get us an answer.

the stuff about the congressman - find the release forms on each congressman's website.

print out each release form.

sign the release form .

scan to pdf

then email that to the congressman's office.

saves a lot of time, actually.

Okay, call us crazy, but we just booked a date for a wedding and we're getting out of the K1 process!

We did the math on the current processing time (it's depressing) + the benefit of not having to do AOS and it just makes more sense for us.

I emailed the London consulate to confirm we're eligible for DCF and we are - we had a lawyer in London make the same enquiry about our eligibility, and they confirmed the same. Just can't be too careful after the other idiot lawyer. I already feel better knowing we're about to opt out of doing anything on the US side and just deal with London.

I guess we should revoke the K1 - it's just sending a letter to CSC and NVC, correct? Should we also fax or anything for immediate attention?
